The DTC Network

The Danube Transfer Centers Netwtork is a dynamic transnational structure in the Danube Region dedicated to fostering innovation and knowledge transfer between academia and the economic environment. 
The DTC Network can provide assistance and support to organisations seeking to improve their competitiveness and international dimension. In each country, a few gate centers are established, which then create their own local network of offices, in order to be as close as possible to the intended beneficiaries.
Among the services our members provide, we can mention: technology transfer, intellectual property management, management of innovation projects and value proposition consultancy.

The DTC Network has been designated as a Flagship Project of Priority Area 8 - Competitiveness of entreprises of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region - EUSDR.

Steinbeis 2i GmbH (S2i) was founded in 2016 as a 100 % spin-off of Steinbeis-Europa-Zendrum (SEZ). SEZ of the Steinbeis Innovation gGmbH, is a non-profit organization and belongs to the Steinbeis Foundation for Economic Promotion. The spin-off Steinbeis 2i GmbH has taken over all 80 staff members and competences from SEZ, so that over 25 years’ experience of SEZ and senior expertise of its staff in building innovation capacities in SME and supporting cross-border research and technology transfer is fully guaranteed and now executed by Steinbeis 2i. Since 2008, SEZ and later S2i has been a member of the regional European Enterprise Network (EEN) consortia and is closely intertwined with the network of more than 1.200 Technology Transfer Centers of the Steinbeis Foundation for Economic Promotion mainly in Baden-Württemberg, but also in other regions in Germany and Europe. The Technology Transfer Centers are mostly attached to research organizations in order to guarantee close connection between R&D and industry. The core activities of S2i are assistance for organizations to participate in European R&D projects and to manage and support international research and innovation projects, to stimulate and support innovation processes in both small and large companies, to coordinate foresight activities as well as exploitation of research results, and to promote transnational technology transfer as well as the stimulation and support of the innovation process in industrial companies and provision of professional training.

The University of Novi Sad, with more than 50,000 students and 5,000 employees, is one of the largest educational and research centers in Central Europe. It belongs to the group of comprehensive universities, which are characterized by providing nearly all fields of higher education.

The University of Novi Sad has a well-developed research infrastructure and great potential for innovation. The Central Library and the Faculty and Institute libraries offer a rich array of publications that cover all relevant scientific areas and enable access to large electronic databases. Resulting from a special agreement on cooperation, researchers, professors and students have access to the Matica Srpska Library, the oldest Serbian scientific and cultural institution, founded in 1826, which offers more than three million publications.
